Pesto Pasta

Another dump and go recipe in your instant pot.
Add pasta to your instant pot. Add one teaspoon oil. Fill the instant pot with water covering all the pasta. Turn the instant pot onto manual/pressure cook 6mins. Once done, let it naturally release pressure. Open your IP and add the pesto sauce.
You can either buy pre-made pesto sauce or make your own. Garnish with parmesan cheese. Recipe below for making your own pesto sauce.
In a vitamix or blender combine basil, garlic, pine nuts(you can skip this for nut free). Once blended season with salt and pepper. Add olive oil and blend one more time.
You can store this upto one week in the refrigerator.
