This one takes a little bit of time and effort so I made it on a Sunday afternoon for late lunch. I air-fried gobi(cauliflower) rather than deep fried. So its a healthier version of the actual gobi manchurian.
In a bowl take all purpose flower (1/2 cup) and corn flour(1 to 2 teaspoon)
Add ginger ,garlic, red chili powder, salt and soy sauce
Add water as required and whisk to make a batter.
You can now add in boiled gobi and deep fry in hot oil or air fry it at 400F for 20mins
Keep aside
In a wok or pan heat oil and saute garlic
Add spring onion and green peppers or any color pepper you have
Add chili sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, crushed pepper and salt.
Mix and saute for couple of mins.
Make corn flour water (2 tsp to 1 cup water) and add it to the pan.
Add the cauliflower florets.
Stir until all the gobi or cauliflower florets have been coated. Stir couple more mins and the sauce will thicken
Garnish with chopped spring onions green eat it as is or with fried rice.
